Responsibilities

  • Participate in schedule update meetings and provide accurate information.
  • Evaluate and manage RFI processing.
  • Manage project budget and change orders.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor assistant MEP engineers.
  • Co-lead MEP coordination to ensure design requirements, operations, and quality.
  • Prepare scope of work documents for trades and temporary operations.
  • Partner with MEP superintendent to resolve conflicts and coordinate site logistics.
  • Co-lead turnover process (start-up, testing, commissioning, closeout).
  • Conduct regular project walkthroughs per contract documents.
  • Identify and inform field staff of installation requirements.
  • Manage and secure municipal and agency documentation.
  • Create and implement quality control plan.

Qualifications:

  • Specific vision abilities (close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment).
  • Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • On-site at construction worksite.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor conditions, and electrical shock.
  • Moderate to very loud noise levels.
