Job description

Shape the future of building deliveryJoin a 350-employee, fast-scaling manufacturer operating eleven production lines and pioneering the Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) system—turning complex buildings into manufactured assemblies that arrive on site ready to connect. The ambition is bold: 2x2x2—buildings that are twice as good, twice as fast, and twice the value.A day in this roleYour morning starts with the MEP team—engineers, architects, builders, and manufacturing pros—aligning on the day’s priorities. You’ll refine a power distribution model in Revit, run a quick arc-flash and selective coordination check in your preferred analysis tool, and jump on a call with a client to clarify operating conditions for a healthcare wing. After lunch, you’ll walk the factory floor to review a prototype panel assembly, collaborate with installers on fit and flow, then finalize drawings and documentation for release to production—on schedule. What you’ll doResearch, design, and detail facility electrical systems for projects of varying scale to meet client requirements.Own electrical system and equipment design, collaborating with engineers, project managers, and construction partners to define and adjust design parameters.Analyze system performance and safety—perform selective coordination, arc-flash, illumination, and energy performance studies—to optimize reliability and efficiency.Support manufacturing-driven delivery: modeling, selecting manufacturing and construction methods, assisting with fabrication, testing, and deployment of products and systems.Interface directly with customers and partners to confirm goals, specifications, environmental conditions, feasibility, and cost for new facility electrical systems.Review drawings and specifications for compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.Help oversee CAD/Revit design modeling activities and maintain alignment to project timelines.Collaborate closely with manufacturing and field installation teams to improve quality, throughput, and implementation efficiency.Support the project lead by coordinating inputs from managers, engineers, drafters, and production personnel across all phases. What you bringRequiredBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.Experience in facility electrical engineering.Knowledge of electrical design standards and regulations such as the National Electrical Code and NFPA 99 (Healthcare Facilities Code).Ability to contribute independently and thrive in cross-functional teams.Reliability and punctuality with a focus on meeting deadlines.Clear, professional verbal and written communication.PreferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license. Background in healthcare facility design.3D modeling experience—especially Revit—plus AutoCAD and CADMEP.Proficiency with electrical analysis tools (e.g., EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM) and Dapper/Captor.ProficienciesNational Electrical Code (NEC)Electrical / Electronic SystemsElectrical System and Equipment DesignElectrical systems regulations for electrical systemsNFPA 99Tools you’ll useCAD Software (AutoCAD)AutoCADCAD/Revit design modelingCADMEPRevitRewards and benefits10–15% BonusComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible spending accountsPaid time offShort- and long-term disabilityLife insurance401(k) planEqual Employment OpportunityIt is the policy of Deploy's Clientto use ability and willingness to contribute to our team effort as the criteriafor making employment related decisions, regardless of an individual's race, color, religion, sex, nationalorigin, age, disability, or other protected status.
