Job summary

Deploy's Client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer/Architectural Engineer to design facility power, distribution, and life-safety systems for hospital projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and fabricators to deliver integrated 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings.

You’ll translate designs into manufacturable scopes, perform load calculations, and ensure code compliance. A strong Revit background and FE/EIT path are preferred, with opportunities across multiple

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
  • Comfort with 3D design tools; strong preference for Revit experience.
  • Self-directed yet collaborative; reliable and deadline-driven.
  • Detail-focused with a commitment to quality.
  • FE/EIT (or on path to licensure) preferred.
  • Background in facility electrical system analysis.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC).

Responsibilities

  • Engineer facility power systems for multidisciplinary projects.
  • Develop electrical distribution and equipment layouts with architects/engineers/detailers.
  • Run load calculations, sizing, coordination, and lighting studies.
  • Layout communications and life-safety systems and produce single-line diagrams.
  • Translate designs into manufacturable scopes, 3D models, and fabrication docs.
  • Build models for permit packages, manufacturing drawings, and field shop drawings.
  • Participate in QA reviews to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and field teams to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Work with suppliers on specifications and equipment integration.

Our MEP team is growing quickly and delivering new healthcare buildings across multiple states.A Day in This RoleYou will collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, fabricators, and installers in a fast-paced environment.
