Gutridge, a leading construction and service company serving central Ohio, seeks a Division Manager to oversee MEPF projects. You will lead project teams, ensure quality and safety, and manage the division’s budget and performance to meet timelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in MEP engineering or construction, including 3–5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction practices, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Proven experience overseeing large-scale construction projects, with a strong understanding of MEP systems and project operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources, and drive project and division performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification.
• LEED accreditation (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
• Relevant industry certifications related to MEP systems, construction, or building codes.

Responsabilités

• Lead & develop the division leadership and project teams; delegate responsibilities effectively and provide training and guidance.
• Manage the division budget; monitor project costs and profitability; review labor and expenses with CFO and Controller.
• Drive division performance; evaluate project progress, performance, and profitability with project managers.
• Oversee workforce planning with HR to recruit, retain, and develop employees.
• Ensure quality & safety by enforcing standards across MEP installations and compliance with codes.
• Coordinate projects with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders for updates and issue resolution.
• Manage risk by identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and processes.
