Mortenson is seeking a Commissioning Manager I to lead project commissioning, construction activities, and contract administration. You will plan, execute, and guide testing across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and life safety systems while coordinating with project teams and clients.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, strong communications, and collaboration with scope teams. Travel up to 50% is required for site supervision and field work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or 10 years of equivalent field experience.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Experience with QA/QC and construction documents relations to project management and field executions.

Responsabilités

• Perform scope of work technical reviews and provide detailed comments and recommendations.
• Develop commissioning specifications and create commissioning plans, checklists, and tests for collection and control systems.
• Lead field visits, observe inspections and tests, and provide technical guidance.
• Direct functional performance tests in the field and draft commissioning plan and schedule.
