Job summary

Williams College is seeking a dynamic Building Systems Project Manager to join the Planning, Design & Construction team on the Williamstown, MA campus. You will manage a portfolio of MEP and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout, coordinating with campus stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, procurement of external architects/engineers, and overseeing scheduling, cost control, and contract administration to meet College

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal training/experience.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in project management, construction supervision, design, or engineering fields focused on MEP systems; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office Professional, and MS Project.
• Deep familiarity with building codes, construction materials, and design/construction methodologies.
• Strong contract administration, risk mitigation, and financial budgeting skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Budgeting: define scopes, timelines, and budgets; procure and manage external architects and engineers; ensure alignment with campus specs and regulatory requirements.
• Execution & Contract Administration: supervise contractors; manage scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and inspections; coordinate permitting and commissioning; ensure smooth hand-off to operations.
