Job summary

Williams College is seeking a Building Systems Project Manager to join the Planning, Design & Construction team in Williamstown, MA. You will manage a portfolio of MEP and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout, coordinating with campus stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities include project planning and budgeting, and overseeing execution, scheduling, contract administration, and inspections to meet College standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal training/experience.
• 2+ years of proven experience in project management, construction supervision, design, or engineering fields focused on MEP.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office Professional, and MS Project.
• Deep familiarity with building codes, construction materials, and design/construction methodologies.
• Strong contract administration, risk mitigation, and financial budgeting skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Budgeting: Develop scopes, timelines, and budgets aligned with institutional goals; procure external architects/engineers and review docs for campus specs and regulatory compliance.
• Execution & Contract Administration: Supervise general contractors, oversee scheduling, cost control, contracts, and inspections to meet College standards; coordinate permitting and commissioning.
