Job summary

ms consultants, inc. is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the planning and production of building systems for diverse commercial and institutional projects. You will collaborate with in‑house architects, interior designers, civil and structural engineers across projects nationwide from concept through construction.

The role emphasizes ownership of technical content, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring adherence to codes and standards while supporting professional growth and learning.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering (BSME) or electrical engineering (BSEE) from ABET-accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in MEP engineering.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical design and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and production of MEP systems for facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in construction documents and specs.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing design calculations and energy modeling.
• Coordinate design elements with architecture, structures, site civil, and landscape teams.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and ensure code compliance.
• Participate in cross-training and ongoing professional development.
