Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc is seeking a Full-Time Mechanical and Building Systems Engineer to assess MEP and Fire Life Safety systems for commercial properties. The role includes site visits, data collection, and developing design solutions as part of the Integrated Facility Solutions group.

The position requires a BS/MS in mechanical or electrical engineering with 5+ years of consulting/design experience; a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering with relevant consulting/design experience.
• Experience with MEP and Fire Life Safety systems is preferred.
• P.E. license preferred; additional professional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review MEP and FLS assessments for commercial properties.
• Conduct site visits, walkthroughs, and observe building systems.
• Document deficiencies with photos and narratives; prepare reports.
• Interact with clients to discuss findings and recommended solutions.
• Support cost estimation for remedying deficiencies and enhancements.
• Lead or support project teams under guidance of senior staff.
