Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Mechanical and Building Systems Engineer in Florida. The role focuses on performing and reviewing MEP and Fire Life Safety assessments within our IFS group, including site visits, data gathering, and client interfacing.

You will lead reporting, cost estimates, and technical guidance for projects, with opportunities to interact with owners and management while traveling up to 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years commercial/industrial engineering consulting or design experience.
• P.E. in mechanical engineering preferred; CEM/CEA/CBCP/CMVP preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with clients.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; strong documentation and reporting ability.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Self-performs MEP Assessments and prepares MEP Assessment Reports.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and observations of tenant spaces and major mechanical areas.
• Review construction documents and cost data to assess deficiencies and costs.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to Project Managers on MEP issues.
• Communicate solutions and develop customized consulting approaches for clients.
