Job summary

Franchise World Headquarters, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide the menu platform’s technical direction and architecture. You will write substantial code while steering the team’s delivery and modernization efforts across a TypeScript stack.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and shape AI-enhanced features for production, ensuring scalable, reliable systems across the Subway franchise network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership.
• Strong with service-based architectures and NestJS.
• Full-stack experience across CI/CD, cloud infra (AWS/Azure), backend and frontend.
• Hands-on coding in TypeScript/Node.js and modern web stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction of the menu platform.
• Stay hands-on: write code and ship features.
• Oversee re-architecture and modernization of services to the TypeScript stack.
• Drive day-to-day delivery and unblock engineers.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Set strategy for AI-driven features and production validation.
