Job summary

The University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, seeks a Mentorship Strategist to architect the Lloyd Greif Center's mentorship ecosystem in Los Angeles. The role designs scalable mentorship opportunities connecting students with industry leaders and experts, beyond direct startup advising.

Responsibilities include recruiting mentors, developing initiatives, and reporting on outcomes, with oversight of budgets and external funding opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing mentorship programs and ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to recruit mentors and manage relationships.
  • Experience producing reports and evaluating outcomes.
  • Ability to manage budgets and sponsorship opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Design mentorship strategy and programming.
  • Recruit and manage mentors, alumni, investors, and industry advisors.
  • Develop initiatives such as Entrepreneur-in-Residence programs.
  • Establish mentorship evaluation frameworks and metrics.
  • Produce executive-level reports and strategic assessments.
  • Manage budgets and identify external funding opportunities.
  • Develop grant proposals and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Supervise student workers and volunteers.
  • Collaborate with Marshall leadership, faculty, development, and alumni relations.
  • Expand experiential learning through mentorships and networking.
