Job summary

The Brazos Valley Food Bank is seeking an Individual Development Specialist to support Together We Grow by identifying and addressing barriers to household and employment stability. This role emphasizes direct client services, intake interviews, and confidentiality while collaborating with community partners to empower participants.

You will develop case plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with program staff and employer partners to help clients achieve personal and professional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field is required (CHEA accredited).
• One year of case management experience or two years of direct service experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Regular in-person attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct client services for Together We Grow (45%).
• Conduct intake interviews and assess readiness for services.
• Maintain client confidentiality and document activities accurately.
• Develop case plans with short and long-term goals and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with employer partners and community organizations to support clients.
