Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or leadership role.
• Possession of a BSW or MSW degree and a Virginia Social Worker license are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises social workers and assistants and enforces quality and quantity objectives.
• Evaluates social service programs and budgets.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with other agencies and the public.
• Recommends policy changes based on program evaluation and effectiveness.
• Interprets and applies laws, policies, and regulations in human services.
• Develops programs and procedures and trains subordinate staff.
