Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a program facilitator to support the Career and College Success initiative. The role coordinates regional mentor cohorts, recruits student participants, and partners with school staff and local organizations to advance career readiness.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience, and is aimed at strengthening equity in college and career pathways within Colorado communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Spanish bilingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Recruit and case-manage student participants for the Coach Mentoring Program, prioritizing equitable access.
• Identify students needing additional college and career readiness support and provide targeted outreach and guidance.
• Refer students to alternative community-based mentoring programs when appropriate.
• Target Coach program recruitment to underrepresented populations to ensure equitable access to CCS opportunities.
• Eliminate over/undersaturation of community mentor partners by monitoring student participation and improve representation of DPS graduation requirements and student career and college planning.
• Identify, recruit, and help train adult professional mentors to foster students' career identity and planning.
• Lead and finalize mentor/mentee matches for Coach cohorts.
• Coordinate regional Coach cohort logistics including meals, transportation, and materials.
• Facilitate large-group mentor training and run cohort mentoring sessions using pre-developed curriculum.
• Advocate for CCS programs through presentations and partnerships.
• Track attendance, work-readiness assessments, and incentives in district data systems.
• Maintain open communication with the CCS Leadership Team to share feedback and drive improvement.
