Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with four years of professional experience in career services, student affairs, workforce development, experiential learning, student employment, talent development, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of professional experience in career services, student affairs, workforce development, experiential learning, student employment, talent development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement career readiness initiatives that help students develop, assess, and communicate career competencies.
• Coordinate mentoring, job shadowing, and informational interviewing programs connecting students with alumni and industry professionals.
• Create student employment resources promoting career readiness through on-campus employment, supervisor development, and transferable skill articulation.
• Evaluate student learning and program outcomes to drive continuous improvement and career readiness success.
• Connect students with resources, opportunities, and strategies that support career readiness initiatives.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff; maintain regular meetings and fostering a supportive environment for growth.
• Provide coaching and onboarding procedures for new hires and coordinate professional development.
• Analyze and report data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
• Develop assessment strategies and data-driven recommendations to enhance programs and services.
• Support planning and execution of career readiness initiatives and provide statistical reporting for leadership and student needs.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with academic departments, employers, alumni, and community organizations to expand career readiness opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support student success and advance institutional goals.
• Cultivate employer and community relationships that enhance student engagement, experiential learning, and career outcomes.
