The Bartolotta Restaurants is seeking a line cook to join our Milwaukee-area culinary team. You will prepare menu items as directed by senior staff, ensuring high-quality plating, timing, and consistency across sauces, pastas, and grilled items.

Qualifications

• Able to work in fast-paced, changing environment.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and workplace safety regulations.
• Knowledge of food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently and quickly and to be a strong team member.
• Maintain personal cleanliness at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to standard recipes, plate presentations and specifications in a timely manner.
• Responsible for sauces, pastas, and grilled items.
• Sets up workstation per station diagram and daily inventory to Chef’s standards.
• Completes all assigned prep work to Chef’s standards.
• Maintains product presentation and quality, and adheres to cook times.
• Cleans and sanitizes work area before, during, and after shift; follows sanitary practices.
