Job summary

Belle Tire is launching an Auto Tech Development Program to train the next generation of Certified Automotive Technicians. As an Automotive Technician Trainee, you will work under a mentor, gain hands-on shop experience, and progress to a fully qualified technician within six months.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate (within 6 months) of an ASE-accredited automotive technology program.
• State of Michigan Mechanic Trainee Permit (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must obtain required tools within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Secure vehicles to lifts and alignment equipment for safe operation.
• Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs.
• Support brakes, suspension, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Learn repair techniques across multiple vehicle systems.
• Communicate with team and explain repairs as needed.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction.
