Belle Tire invites entry‑level automotive enthusiasts to join the Auto Tech Development Program as Technican Trainee. You will be paired with a mentor, gain hands‑on shop experience, and work toward ASE certifications while progressing into a certified technician within six months.

This structured program targets students or recent graduates aiming to accelerate their automotive careers in a fast paced retail environment with real customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate from an automotive technology program.
• Completion of brakes and steering/suspension coursework preferred.
• Ability to obtain Michigan Trainee Permit within required timeframe.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Access to required tools within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Secure vehicles to lifts and alignment machines for safe operation.
• Assist with diagnosing issues and performing repairs.
• Support brakes, suspension, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Learn repair techniques across multiple vehicle systems.
• Communicate with team and explain repairs when needed.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Complete training milestones and program competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
