Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy in Sylvania, OH seeks an experienced Lead Teacher who serves as a role model and mentor. You will deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered programs for children and mentor new teachers within your age group.

Responsibilities include tracking attendance and milestones, modeling best practices, leading classroom teams, engaging families, and participating in onboarding, training, and academy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Meets state minimum standards; CDA/AA/BA in ECE preferred.
• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates spiritual leadership and alignment with Lionheart’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Track attendance, milestones, and routines consistently.
• Mentor new teachers with classroom observations and onboarding.
• Assist with skills verification and training using orientation tools.
• Model best practices in classroom management, curriculum, and spiritual integration.
