Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Meets state minimum standards for Early Childhood Assistant Teacher.
• Experience in licensed child care preferred but not required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Spiritual alignment with Christ-centered values.
• Teamwork and collaboration; positive relationships with children, families, staff.
• Willingness to grow and receive coaching.
• Ability to work across age groups as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily activities integrating Bible stories, prayer, and Christian values for age-appropriate development.
• Supervise children by sight and sound at all times per licensing standards and required ratios; perform health checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, age-appropriate learning environment; follow sanitation and Safe Sleep practices.
• Use varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Track attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom routines.
