Job summary

The DREAM Program, Inc. is seeking a Mentor Guide to support high school mentors and elementary youth in a Guided Mentoring program.

You will help plan, facilitate, and reflect on lessons and activities that are fun, play‑based, and developmentally appropriate, linking mentors with mentees. You’ll attend weekly sessions, assist with school-day and afterschool activities, and help plan Summer and out‑of‑school experiences in collaboration with the regional manager and school partners to

• Commitment to the entire service term.
• Commitment to AmeriCorps and DREAM.
• Desire to develop new skills and serve as a positive role model.
• Able to meet in person and support remote work with reliable connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Create powerful, developmentally appropriate mentoring relationships with high school mentor groups and individuals.
• Attend weekly programming sessions with mentors and mentees.
• Plan and facilitate fun, play-based curriculum lessons and activities.
• Coordinate with regional managers and school staff for afterschool and field experiences.
