Job summary

NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is seeking a data-driven Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation Specialist to collect, review, and analyze quantitative data for program services, producing reports, tables, graphs, and presentations for leadership.

The role involves supporting evaluation processes, developing benchmarks, designing data collection tools, and contributing to performance improvement projects within a state agency environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional program evaluation experience in a human services setting, including data collection and reporting.
• Substitution: a master's or higher-degree may substitute for one year of non-supervisory experience.
• Experience designing or using outcome measurement instruments and reporting to improve program operations.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reviews, and analyzes quantitative data related to programmatic services provided to individuals.
• Creates reports, tables, graphs, and presentations based on data analysis.
• Collects and analyzes data regarding care provision, service utilization, and facility compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Presents findings, reports, and recommendations to higher-level staff.
• Assists in development of evaluation processes, outcome measurements, and performance improvement projects.
• Develops and maintains internal protocols for program evaluation.
