Job summary

NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) seeks a Data Manager for Program Supports to lead program-level data systems, analytics, and evaluation across multiple Bureau programs. Based in the CYF Office of Research and Evaluation, you will oversee two Program Data Analysts and collaborate with bureau leadership, IT, and external stakeholders.

You will drive data quality, reporting, and evidence-informed policy, applying QA and equity-focused methods while contributing

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in public health, biostatistics, or related field required; doctoral preferred for senior levels.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement in public health or human services.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning, development, and implementation of program-level data systems and reporting across multiple Bureau programs.
• Manage collection, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of program data to support operations, evaluation, quality improvement, and policy initiatives.
• Supervise two Program Data Analysts and oversee analytic work supporting Bureau priorities.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, methodological rigor, and timely dissemination of analytic deliverables.
