Job summary

Pilgrim Psychiatric Center, part of the New York State Office of Mental Health, seeks a Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation Specialist 4 to oversee the program evaluation department. You will supervise staff, plan evaluation studies, and communicate findings to inform service improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 4 years of program evaluation experience in human services, including data collection and analysis, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of professional program evaluation experience in a human services setting, including design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Two years of this experience must have been at a supervisory level.
• Experience with communicating evaluation results to inform decision making.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the development and implementation of program evaluation studies, data collections, and analysis.
• Communicate evaluation results in reports and/or presentations.
• Collaborate with management to use evaluation findings to inform decision making and practices.
• Supervise professional and paraprofessional staff in the program evaluation department.
