Salary: $22.70 - $25.81/hr

*Hourly rate includes a $1.00/hr. salary stipend and a $1.00/hr. direct care stipend. Applicants with CNA certificates on the State's registry will receive an additional $.50/hour.

Employees in this job start at Step 5 of the pay scale. Promotional salary will follow contractual guidelines.

• Additional shift differential of .35¢/hour for 2nd shift
• Additional shift differential of .45¢/hour for 3rd shift
• Weekend differential of $.60/hour for weekend hours

As a Mental Health Worker, you will provide paraprofessional support involving direct patient care, implementing programs, and education for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. Preference for candidates with mental health experience, registered on the Maine CNA registry, and holding a valid Maine driver’s license.
