Job summary

Thrive Therapy is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our on-site team. The role provides direct client support under supervision, facilitates therapeutic activities, and participates in crisis intervention as needed.

This per-diem position requires flexibility with hours and responsibilities across care plans. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, two years of mental health experience, and clear background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• At least two years of experience providing mental health treatment.
• Background check including State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong observational skills to assess behavioral changes.
• Physical ability to walk stairs and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in training and supervision as assigned and required.
• Documents client progress and properly maintains client records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
• All other duties as assigned

Job Title: Mental Health Worker (MHW)

Salary Range: Starting at $21/Hour (Per Diem)
