Job summary

Thrive Therapy is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our outpatient therapy team on-site. The candidate must complete supervisor and clinical service hours as needed, with the position starting on a per-diem basis and transitioning to full-time salary as the program expands.

Major duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual, caregiver and group therapy, supervising MHWs, managing crises, coordinating with healthcare providers, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field.
• PA licensure or internship/practicum during Master’s program.
• Minimum 2 years of mental health treatment experience preferred.
• Background checks: state/federal clearances and FBI clearance required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; computer proficiency and telehealth capability.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and develop psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
• Provide individual, caregiver and group therapy sessions.
• Supervise Mental Health Workers (MHW) as assigned.
• Initiate crisis interventions and case management as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and educators; maintain detailed records.
• Coordinate with community resources and participate in continuing education.

Summary

Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our outpatient therapy team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and complete supervisor and clinical service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis to start and will turn into a full-time, salaried position based on the program growth.

Major Job Duties

• Assess clients and develop comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
• Providing individual, caregiver and group therapy sessions.
• Provide supervision to assigned Mental Health Workers (MHW).
• Initiate crisis intervention and case management measures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
• Coordinate with community resources and services.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Licensed to practice within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania OR internship/practicum experience as part of Master's Program.
• At least (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of community resources and social services.
• A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
• NPI Query and current driver’s license.
• Participation in and completion of all CBH mandatory in-services.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
