Job summary

Thrive Therapy MHOP Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker (MHW) to join our on-site team. The position is per-diem and requires providing mental health service hours as needed.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with strong communication and observational skills. Under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional, you will assist with client care, develop care plans, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with other health and educational

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in training and supervision as assigned and required.
• Documents client progress and properly maintains client records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
• All other duties as assigned

Summary

Thrive Therapy is looking for a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our team. The candidate must be able to work on-site and provide mental health service hours as needed. This position is on a per-diem basis.

Major Job Duties

• Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.

• At least five (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment.

• A background check in accordance with state and federal regulations; State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

• Great observational skills to assess behavioral changes.

• Physical abilities (e.g. ability to walk stairs, lift up to 40lbs)
