Job summary

Thrive Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our team on-site in Philadelphia. The role provides mental health service hours as needed and operates on a per-diem basis.

Under supervision of a Mental Health Professional, you will support clients, assist with care plans, and coordinate with other professionals. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• At least five (2) years of experience providing mental health treatment.
• Background check: State Criminal Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Great observational skills to assess behavioral changes.
• Physical abilities: walk stairs, lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client support, monitor condition, and offer crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in training and supervision as required.
• Document client progress and maintain records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and educators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Major Job Duties

• Under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional, provides direct support to clients, monitors their condition, facilitates therapeutic activities, and offers crisis intervention.
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in training and supervision as assigned and required.
• Documents client progress and properly maintains client records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
• All other duties as assigned
