Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking a licensed Therapist to join a collaborative clinical team dedicated to expanding access to behavioral health care. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to provide outpatient therapy, crisis planning, and client-centered treatment plans.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field and are pursuing licensure with ongoing supervision and CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Eagerness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Time management and ability to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance forms.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.
