Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking licensed therapists to join a collaborative behavioral health team. You will provide outpatient therapy and develop personalized treatment plans, working with a clinical and administrative staff to support client care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
• Dedicated to ongoing professional development including supervision/CE.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff.
