Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking licensed and provisional-licensed mental health therapists to join a supportive clinical team. You will provide outpatient therapy, develop safety and relapse plans, and work with a multidisciplinary group to improve community mental health.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and collaboration with psychiatrists, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation may be required.
• Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, admin staff, and therapists for holistic care.
