Job summary

New Directions Mental Health, a Transformations Care Network member, is seeking Mental Health Therapists to join a collaborative behavioral health team. You will provide outpatient therapy and contribute to client care in a supportive environment.

As a licensed professional, you will engage in assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team. The organization emphasizes growth, development, and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulations if required.
• Educational background that leads to or results in professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength‑based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and other therapists.
