Job summary

New Directions Mental Health in Pennsylvania is seeking licensed therapists to join our behavioral health team. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop crisis and safety plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and staff to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
• Committed to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans and insurance forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff for holistic care.
