New Directions Mental Health is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join a collaborative clinical team. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop safety and crisis plans, and participate in case consultations and discharge planning.

We support ongoing professional development, supervision, and a commitment to ethical, confidential care in a community-focused behavioral health setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation (if required).
• Educational background that leads to professional licensing.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, admin staff, and fellow therapists.
