Job summary

STR Lancaster, a program of STR Behavioral Health, seeks an Associate Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy within an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization setting. The role involves developing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating care with the clinical team.

The position requires a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology, and at least 1 year of relevant client experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with clients with primary mental health diagnosis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Completes session notes and discharge plans.
• Maintains and updates client documentation.
• Conducts risk assessment and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate client care.
