Job summary

STR Lancaster (a program of STR Behavioral Health) seeks Associate Therapists to provide individual, family and group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization setting. You will work under licensed therapists to assess needs and develop treatment plans while coordinating with families and partners.

Role requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology, with a preference for 1+ year’s mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Minimum 1 year experience with clients with primary mental health diagnosis preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification currently or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, family, and group therapy sessions per clinical program schedule.
• Completes session notes, discharge plans, and reports per state and payor guidelines.
• Maintains accurate documentation reflecting client progress and assessments.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care from admission to discharge.
• Engages with clients, families, and referral sources with empathy and professionalism.
