Job summary

STR Bucks County, part of STR Behavioral Health, is seeking an Associate Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization program. You will work under supervision of licensed therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in social work, marriage & family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Licensing or eligibility to practice in the state is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with mental health diagnoses is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, family, and group therapy sessions as part of PHP/IOP.
• Completes session notes, discharge plans and other required reports.
• Maintains accurate documentation reflecting client progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care from admission to discharge.
• Communicates progress with clients’ families, guardians, and external partners.
