Job summary

Citizens Behavioral Health seeks a Licensed Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults. The role includes clinical assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing support while maintaining an active caseload in a collaborative, evidence-based care setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field and active NC licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adult behavioral health populations preferred.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy services.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to evidence-based and client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for adult clients.
• Conduct clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Maintain an active caseload and provide ongoing therapeutic support.
• Facilitate therapy groups focused on emotional wellness, coping skills, trauma recovery, communication, and personal growth.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when necessary.
