New Haven Residential Treatment Center in Saratoga Springs, UT seeks a Clinical Therapist to support adolescent girls through individual, family, and group therapy. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary planning, documentation, and regular supervision in a residential setting.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in a behavioral science field required or strongly preferred.
  • Licensure: fully licensed or associate licensure accepted; CAQH/NPI readiness is noted.
  • Clinical experience: two years in individual, family, and group therapy preferred.
  • Residential experience: one year in a residential setting is a plus.
  • Credentialing: willing to create CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.

Responsibilities

  • Individual Sessions: conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students.
  • Family Sessions: facilitate family therapy sessions with students and parents.
  • Group Therapy Leadership: lead specialized group therapy for students.
  • Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: participate in weekly treatment planning with the team.
  • Clinical Meetings and Supervision: attend regular clinical meetings and supervision.
  • Documentation and Charting: maintain accurate progress notes and charts.
  • Family Weekend Involvement: participate in family weekends to support families.
  • Camping Trips: organize two-day camping trips twice a year for experiential learning.

Education

Master’s degree in behavioral science (Social Work / MFT / CMHC)
Licensed (LCSW / LMFT / LCMHC) preferred or associate licensure (CSW / AMFT / ACMHC) accepted

Hours: Mon - Fri | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Situated in the serene surroundings of Spanish Fork in Utah, our campus not only provide treatment but also create a nurturing home for adolescent females ages 14 to 18 and their families. Our focus extends beyond the ordinary, addressing intricate issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, and mental health nuances. Responsibilities
  • Individual Sessions: Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
  • Family Sessions: Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
  • Group Therapy Leadership: Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Clinical Meetings and Supervision: Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
  • Documentation and Charting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Family Weekend Involvement: Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.
  • Camping Trips: Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
Qualifications
  • Education Required: Master’s degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Licensure Preferred: Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
  • Therapeutic Passion: Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care.
  • Clinical Experience: Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • Residential Expertise: One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.
  • Professional Readiness: Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check.
  • Credentialing Preparedness: Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
