Embark Behavioral Health in Springville, UT, seeks Behavioral Health Associates to join our trauma-informed residential program for adolescent girls (ages 12–17). In this role, you’ll provide direct support in a high‑acuity environment—helping clients regulate emotions, maintain safety, and engage in therapeutic routines. You’ll collaborate with therapists and nurses, model healthy boundaries, and be a steady presence for teens working through trauma, anxiety, depression, and family challenges.
Crisis intervention: Use verbal de‑escalation techniques to manage emotional or behavioral escalations; apply approved physical interventions (holds/restraints) when clinically necessary to ensure safety.
Crisis prevention: Apply proactive strategies to reduce risk and provide crisis management when necessary.
What we are looking for:
High‑acuity response: Comfortable managing verbal/physical outbursts and emotional dysregulation in a residential setting.
Emotional regulation: Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and set firm, healthy boundaries.
Growth mindset: Willingness to learn and grow; candidates with strong boundary‑setting and passion for adolescent mental health are encouraged to apply, even without direct experience!
Adolescent experience: Background working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential, or crisis environments preferred.
