Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in White Haven, PA, seeks an experienced Adolescent Therapist to join our short-term residential program near the Pocono Mountains. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, guided by multi-modal family system approaches, to female adolescents and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum master's degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW), Clinical Social Work (CSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or related discipline.
• Fully licensed in state of Pennsylvania or working toward licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LSW or equivalent).
• NPI Number and CAQH Profile.
• Desire to facilitate client growth through team approach and to work with adolescents and families.
• Two years preferred: licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy; residential setting experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a state background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of six clients to build rapport for effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
• Parent coaching.
• Case management and team coordination.
• Crisis management and de-escalation.
• Treatment planning and use of assessment tools.
• Documentation in electronic medical record.

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 a year (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMSome weekends for intakes and occasional evenings to accommodate family schedules

Our serene and private environment nestled within the rolling woodlands and meadows of the foothills provides an ideal setting for reflection and growth. 77 beautiful acres within the Pocono Mountains create a natural, tranquil, peaceful and healing setting.

Join us at Embark at our short-term residential facility at White Haven, Pennsylvania where therapists offer guidance and support to female adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.

At Embark Behavioral Health, therapists will be advocating for client and family care through strong assessments and treatment planning, ongoing progress monitoring with detailed case management, community based support and robust aftercare planning.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload size of six (6) clients; we believe allows for you to build good rapport with clients and families for effective treatment and outcome results
• Provide individual, family and group therapy

• Documentation in our electronic medical record

Qualifications

• A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
• Preferred - Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
• Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
• Ability to pass a state background check
