Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Springville, UT is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor for our trauma-informed, residential treatment program for adolescent girls. You will lead 3-5 residential staff, supervise intake, and coordinate with therapists and day staff to ensure safe, effective care.

The role focuses on de-escalation, boundary-setting, and proactive leadership in high-acuity settings, with on-site scheduling and flexible on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a Residential Treatment Center or inpatient setting.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Experience working with adolescent girls ages 12–17.
• Skilled in de-escalation and managing high-acuity situations.
• Strong leadership presence with coaching ability.
• Able to make quick decisions during safety-related incidents.
• Maintains firm boundaries and emotionally regulated behavior.
• Meets core requirements: 21+, high school diploma, valid driver’s license, clean background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train 3-5 residential staff by providing guidance answering questions, modeling interventions, and managing escalated situations.
• Provide supervision and emotional support to adolescent girls (ages 12–17) in a high-acuity residential setting.
• Lead interventions during behavioral escalations, aggression, and critical safety incidents.
• Guide new hires through a structured, checklist-based on-shift orientation.
• Assign responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth, efficient shift operations.
• Conduct weekly 1on1 meeting's with direct supports.
• Be on-call for critical incidents and lead response efforts when needed.
• Uphold treatment plans and collaborate with therapists, nurses, and day staff.
• Participate in leadership meetings, relaying relevant information during treatment team meetings as necessary.

What we are looking for:

• 2 years working in a Residential Treatment Center or Inpatient Setting.
• 1 year of leadership experience.
• Experience working with adolescent teenagers.

• Skilled in de-escalation and managing high-acuity, emotionally charged situations.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach and support staff.

• Comfortable making quick decisions and leading during safety-related incidents.

• Maintains firm boundaries and models emotionally regulated behavior.

Required:

• Meets Core Requirements:Must be 21+, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and pass a Utah State background check.
