Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of our mental health therapy at certified treatment centers. This field-based, account-management role will partner with psychiatrists and providers while aligning with regulatory and patient access frameworks.

The TSS will play a pivotal role in launching a novel therapy, delivering clinical education, and shaping a new treatment ecosystem in mental health. Travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with site-of-care dynamics, prior authorization and payer processes.
• Proven track record of launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and behavioral health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and assist providers with referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to onboarding and optimize treatment workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow.
• Coordinate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and payer challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric engagement.
