Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Lasting Hope Recovery Center seeks a Mental Health Tech to support Behavioral Health front and back office operations. You will assist psychiatrists, patients, and care teams, performing triage, vital signs, and documentation within a trauma-informed setting.

You will handle registration, insurance processing, injections, and ensure accurate EHR records while maintaining confidentiality. Strong multitasking and calm performance under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with at least 1 year of mental health experience.
• CPR / Basic Life Support on hire and First Aid within 6 months.
• BLS Instructor certification on hire is preferred.
• Psychiatric Assistant and Nurse Aide training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medication triage and support services.
• Take vital signs and assist with front/back office tasks.
• Handle patient registration, insurance and copays, and telephones.
• Support secure EHR documentation and accurate record-keeping.
• Promote trauma-informed care and patient self-expression.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality in a chaotic environment.
