Job summary

Maximus Federal is seeking a licensed clinical social worker to lead a behavioral health team within the POTFF program. The role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring coverage, and maintaining high clinical standards under federal contract requirements.

The position requires an active LCSW or LMSW, two years of peer-reviewed mental health experience, and credentialing compliance. Travel to multiple locations may be required as part of program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in the state of practice is required.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of peer-reviewed clinical work in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees through cultivation of a high performance team.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for assigned program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies in collaboration with contract management.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
