Job summary

Maximus seeks a Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) to support prevention programming for active-duty SOF personnel under the POTFF program. The SPC coordinates prevention and postvention efforts, promoting evidence-based practices to strengthen resilience and readiness.

The role may provide clinical care when directed, requiring U.S. citizenship and a security clearance. Positions may be located in Fayetteville, NC, with potential assignments at Coronado, CA, and Homestead, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Active LCSW license in the state of practice.
• 2 years of peer-reviewed clinical social work experience.
• Experience with military populations, SOF communities, or multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
• Knowledge of professional ethics in clinical social work services.

Description & RequirementsMaximus is seeking a Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) to support suicide prevention programming, reporting, and initiatives for active-duty members assigned to Special Operations Forces (SOF). The SPC serves as a licensed clinical social work professional and subject matter expert responsible for coordinating prevention and postvention efforts, supporting component-level policies and procedures, and promoting evidence-based practices that strengthen resilience, protective factors, and system response. This position may also provide clinical care when directed by the gaining unit and when the SPC role does not require a full-time equivalent.U.S. citizenship is required.
