Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health Technician for weekend evening coverage (2 PM - 10 PM alternating weekends). This onsite role supports patients and works closely with a dedicated care team to promote recovery and wellbeing in a professional environment.

Responsibilities include documenting patient observations, assisting nurses and activity directors, helping with daily living activities, and maintaining a clean, safe facility.

As a Full-Time Mental Health Technician at Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient programs by exemplifying teamwork and enhancing the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include documenting patients' observed behaviors, vital signs, and significant occurrences while assisting nurses and activity directors in delivering essential therapeutic interventions. Flexibility in your work schedule is essential to ensure adequate coverage and foster a collaborative workplace. You will also coordinate lunch distribution, maintain kitchen cleanliness post-meal, and attend to patients’ needs during lunchtime, reinforcing your commitment to compassionate care.
