Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, a 140-bed hospital in Kentucky, provides inpatient services to adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. As an MHT, you will support patients under licensed staff, addressing their physical, social, and behavioral needs.

You will perform routine non-acute care, document clearly, adapt to patient goals, maintain shift continuity, and help sustain a therapeutic milieu for a supportive treatment environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience in direct patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under the direction of licensed staff.
• Completes all required documentation in a clear, concise manner, showing understanding of patient goals and treatment plan.
• Responsive to patient specific factors and adapts to clinical intervention to fit individual patient need/goals.
• Maintains consistency throughout shift functions and through outgoing and oncoming shift report to ensure appropriate treatment is provided to each patient.
• Fosters and actively assists in maintaining unit’s therapeutic milieu.
